Wilted Spinach Salad

5 slices bacon, cut up

1/2 cup sliced green onion

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

8 cups torn fresh spinach (1 pound)

1 hard-cooked egg, chopped

In large skillet cook bacon over medium heat till crisp. Add green onion, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and a few dashes freshly ground pepper. Gradually add spinach, tossing only until leaves are coated and wilted slightly. Turn into salad bowl. Sprinkle with chopped egg. Makes 4 servings.
