Marinated Three-Bean Salad1 8 1/2 -ounce can lima beans, drained 1 8-ounce can cut green beans, drained 1 8-ounce can red kidney beans, drained 1 medium sweet onion, sliced and separated into rings (1/ 2 cup) 1/2cup chopped green pepper 2/3 cup vinegar 1/2 cup salad oil 1/4cup sugar 1 teaspoon celery seed In large bowl combine the lima beans, green beans, red kidney beans, onion rings, and chopped green pepper. In a screw-top jar combine vinegar, salad oil, sugar, and celery seed; cover and shake to mix well. Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables and stir lightly. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally. Drain before serving. Makes 8 servings.
