Macaroni-Cheddar Salad

3 cups medium shell macaroni (10 ounces)

1 cup dairy sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup sweet pickle relish

2 tablespoons vinegar

2 teaspoons prepared mustard

3/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups cubed cheddar cheese (8 ounces)

1 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

1/4 cup chopped onion

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water. Drain and set aside. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and milk; stir in pickle relish, vinegar, mustard, and salt. Toss together cooled macaroni, cheese, celery, green pepper, and onion. Pour sour cream mixture over all; toss lightly to mix. (Salad will appear quite moist.) Chill several hours or overnight. Makes 12 servings.
