LunchDuring your lunch you need to ingest the most of energy, but if in lunch meal there are too little proteins and too much fats and carbohydrates then a person after the meal gets sleepy. If you cook at home and the lunch is tasty- you cannot refuse from another extra portion. In order not to overload your stomach we ingest liquid because sense of fullness appears only after 20 minutes. It is also useful to pay attention to the amount of food you are cooking at home in order no food gets left over because while warming up the food (it looses all the valuable vitamins) and if you eat too much (you feel tired). The proportion of proteins should not exceed 40% of the portion, the carbohydrates- 60% (20% complex carbohydrates- starch containing products, for example rice or potatoes). Ideal protein choice is: poultry meat without skin, fish (rich), nuts (not roasted), and legumes. And protein choice: bacon (lamb meat), beef, duck, goose meat, ham. |
