Frozen Cherry Salad1 4 1/2-ounce container frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed 1 4-ounce container whipped cream cheese, softened 1 21-ounce can cherry pie filling 2 11-ounce cans mandarin orange sections, drained Stir together whipped dessert topping and cream cheese. Fold in pie filling. Set aside 2 or 3 orange sections for garnish; fold remaining oranges into cherry mixture. Line bottom of a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan with waxed paper; pour in cherry mixture. Cover; freeze till firm. To serve, let stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Unmold onto serving platter; discard waxed paper. Garnish with reserved oranges. Slice to serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
