Bulgarian menuBulgarian menu has been influenced by both Eastern people and Europeans, particularly French. For breakfast Bulgarians drink coffee that is prepared according to the Turkish recipe, they fermented milk, yogurt, they eat whole-meal wheat bread with butter and jam, for dinner they have fat meat dishes with seasoned sauces and vegetable salads rich in vitamins (tomatoes, onions, sweet pepper), Bulgarian wine and mineral water. The meat is usually prepared in different kind of casseroles. Yogurt is used with various components- garlic, sugar, jam which is an ingredient also for many soups and main course. |
