Azerbaijan menuAzerbaijani often cook their food from mutton. They cook thick soups and use clay pots for boiling meals. When cooking Azerbaijani use much spices (especially saffron). Sweet breadstuff is full with nuts and almonds. One of the favorite festivity meals is pilaf in which besides the mutton and rice there are a lot of vegetables and fruits (raisins, chestnuts), saffron. |
